Releasing Emotional Blockades

Hormones and neuronal messengers take care of your well-being. Without them you would have no feelings. Many neuronal messengers and hormones are produced in the brain stem or pituitary gland and cause our psychological reactions there. The hormones that are not produced in the head reach your brain via the blood-brain barrier. There they have an effect on how you feel. Emotional blockages can disturb the hormone production process. Therefore, it makes sense to release these blockages.

There are many ways to reveal and work through emotional blockages. Methods such as the EFT tapping technique [1] can not only provide you with insights but can also reveal issues that you have experienced as difficult. There are many techniques in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)[2] that can be used to uncover beliefs. Very simple and effective to use, I find the method "The Work" by the American Byron Katie [3]. With 4 simple questions, you can quickly identify and release your "chimaera". And even easier is the regular use of positive affirmations.

Known through hypnotherapy [4] and systemic family therapy is the so-called "reframing technique", which is used to positively re-interpret beliefs. Systemic family therapy reveals unresolved issues in the family that may have an impact on your hormones and behavior. There are even suspicions that unresolved issues with the mother are present in women with hormonal disorders and correspondingly in men, unresolved conflicts with the father [5]. In a family constellation, you have the chance to uncover and resolve existing emotional blockages, which can have a direct influence on your hormone balance.

I will soon introduce you to some of the simpler methods for self-application. If you would like to address deep-seated blockages, I would be happy to support you as a coach and mental trainer. I am looking forward to meeting you!

Yours, Dagmar
