Having reached the 50+ age myself a few years ago, I know very well the feeling of suddenly having to deal with aging and its consequences. Especially as a woman, one is often more confronted with topics related to beauty and youthfulness. I am convinced that you can be beautiful and attractive at any age. The question is, "how do you do that without getting lost in outward appearances"? In my opinion, it is above all important to achieve a conscious attitude towards life that does not take a "refuge" in an outward appearance. If we set out to discover our inner qualities, it will also be easier for us to synchronize our inner and outer beauty. I am deeply convinced that we can achieve a deep self-satisfaction through this.
Back to the core question: "How does it work?"
We have to set out on our way. On the search for the "true self". There are many helpful methods that can support us in this. One of them is mindfulness and meditation. These means, used regularly, sharpen our perception. And we need them to discover our innermost self. And then there are other approaches that are useful for us to realize our deepest wishes. This also includes a good body awareness. We can achieve this through healthy nutrition, exercise and a clearly focused mindset.

What stays, what goes? What can I do for myself during this time?
Change is always. Change is a permanent factor in every phase of life. Not only in the menopause. You can not only appreciate the strength and magic of this stage of life, but also use it for yourself.
What happens in my body during this time?
During the menopause your body begins to produce fewer hormones than before. The brain tries to compensate for the reduced production and get the body back into balance, and this can take from 6 months to 10 years. During this time, menopausal symptoms can occur.
Can nutrition have a positive influence on the menopause?
The answer is YES. It is possible to counteract the process of hormone loss through certain foods, minerals and vital substances. The body can be relieved by a coordinated diet adapted to the decreasing hormone levels.
What happens in my mind during this time?
During this time a lot of things revolve around the fear of change. However, you can not only learn to appreciate the beauty and strength of this stage of life, but also use it for yourself. Now is the time to discover your true self.
How can meditation and mindfulness help during this time?
Studies have shown that regular meditation can lead to visible changes in the corresponding brain regions. The first changes in the brain already become apparent when someone meditates regularly over a period of two months. This can be of particular benefit during these exciting times.
