What stays, what goes? What can I do for myself during this time?

Many women feel insecure about the menopause. As a middle-aged woman, we easily feel overwhelmed and confused by the sensory overload and fast pace of our time. We become more aware of aging and thus the transience of our existence. We are afraid of physical and mental degeneration. We feel anxious and overloaded. We want to do the right thing, but often don't know what to do and what to leave alone. This is why we often cling to old habits even though they are no longer up to date for us.

This time often brings with it professional and private upheavals. The children are out of the house, we have to redefine ourselves as a couple, we are confronted with young competition at work, we are stuck at work or bored...we experience turbulent times.

Whatever it is that we face in this phase of life, it also means a great chance for a conscious rethinking and a new beginning. Right now we can open our minds to unusual ways, abandon outdated concepts, let go of deadlocked roles and courageously tread new paths. Now is the right time for this. You have it in your hand where the journey should continue.
