Why biohacking in the 50+?

Biohacking? This is the name of a new trend from the USA, which is slowly starting to come over to Europe. Biohacking ranges from simple self-healing methods to the manipulation of your own DNA. Biohackers take their knowledge for this from science, latest technologies and a deep understanding of human physiology and its biological processes. In a do-it-yourself process, different diets are tested, sleeping places are improved, workplaces are redesigned - always with the focus on health, well-being and harmony with one's own goals. And thus being content with one's own performance.
The scene is quite young and mostly still far away from the 50+. It's fantastic for me to see how these younger generations are connected to their body and mind and have developed the ability to hear and feel within themselves what is good and what is not so good for them. And the enthusiasm with which they illuminate and harmonize issues concerning body, mind and soul is simply contagious.
For me, dealing with such topics was not always quite so voluntary. I have been struggling with myself and my body for years to understand these processes and to learn new ways to deal with them in a more peaceful way. Until two days ago I had no idea that so many people have gone through similar learning processes and that these issues are gathering in the biohacking scene. There are experts on sleep optimization, natural hormone treatment, light stimulation, cold thermogenesis, epigenetics, mindfulness meditation and so much more. It is admirable how much profound knowledge is available.
This gave me the idea: Why not biohacking for us, the 50+?
I would like to share what I learn every day on these topics not only with my circle of friends as before, but also to be allowed to pass it on to you. As my Vedic astrologer recently illustrated to me so beautifully: "In your process of self-discovery, there has never been a stone you haven't turned over! And believe me, that was a stony path!
I would like to present to you here ways and means with which you can arrange the time of the 50+ in such a way that you experience it as an energetic, productive phase of life, in which you can even feel better than before.

I had a lot of fun trying out the methods presented here. You can do that too, because everyone is unique and reacts individually. Be curious and experiment! Only then you can find out what is really good for you and works best for you. And you don't necessarily need any apps and measuring devices for body values. If you keep making small changes to your lifestyle and give your body time to adapt, you will find out what improves your life and makes you grow. And you can use what you are already doing. Often it is enough to change certain habits just a little bit and they make more sense. For example, taking the bike instead of the car more often, or climbing stairs instead of the elevator. Sometimes it is the little things that make a big difference. For example, after getting up, having a glass of water instead of coffee.
Biohacking starts with introspection. With the question: What are my habits? My daily routines? What makes me happy? unhappy? satisfied? What is annoying? What would a perfect day look like for me? I will introduce you to methods that can support you in this self-analysis. With their help you can discover what you want to change in your life. The diet? The sleeping habits? Other habits? And how to do that? Often all you need is an impulse to rethink: get out of your habitual way of thinking and simply try something different.
And this is exactly what I want to inspire you with my blog posts! What you can expect here are tips on the topics body, mind and soul. In concrete terms, it's all about how you can find the right diet for you, what the right supplements are that fit your constitution, how you can promote your hormone production, what kind of meditation suits you, how you can change behaviors that affect you in life, how you can connect with nature and draw energy from it, how you can learn to appreciate and love yourself and much more, always with the goal of growing and fully utilizing your potential. In short: everything that helps you to come closer to your own goals and desires.
When I refer to products in this context, it is my concern to draw your attention to sustainable and ecological products.
And maybe one day you will discover that you have become your own biohacker!
